NEW 30 gal tank

Hi ive just got a 30 gal tank and want some suggestions on good fish to put into it.

So far ive got the filter and heater and light. heater and filter are capable of doing a 4ft thank (bout 45 gal) so theres no prob there and light is good enough for keeping live plants i went into this cause i wanna keep real plants.

I wanna get colourful and playful fish that are active as a community, nothing that grows bigger then 10 cm, so then i can match the fish with the type of plants that they have naturally. (hopefully i worded this rite lol)

One fish i wanna put in is neon tetras (maybve the ones that really show colours cant rtember their names (have ta check next time i go to my lfs i think it was conrnal or something like that) gotta love thier colour

Are the Tetras that you mean 'Cardinal' Tetras.?

Other colourfull fish are Gouramis, Rams, Harlequins are another colourfull shoaling fish.
