New 29 Gallon

Hey everyone! I just finished cycling my new 29 gallon! I want a nice pair for my tank. I'm trying to decide between these 2!


The tank would just be 2 fish! either a male/female pair of Daffodil (Brichardi) or Jewels (Hemichromis lifalili)

I really do love both breeds. so its not really a questions as to which i should pick based on looks really. My question is however... Which pair is more likely to thrive in a 29 gallon tank??? I really want them to be happy and thrive and maybe even have babies (but not necessary)

I think you'd be better off with the brichardi, but here are a couple of articles to help you decide.
