Problem is he's a Mbuna and shouldn't be kept with Gouramis / Glass Catfish.

Nice tank! great job :good:
Top that water off though.. i never get why people leave the water an inch from the top rim. all mine are topped up because i don't like the way it looks ( thats my preference) plus with the water level low it gets loud with water splashing noise. sorry if you think I'm ranting when i'm not its just an opinion.

I like your Feather Fin Synodontis, i have one.. he's a really cool fish.

nice tank, but the yellow lab shouldent be in there, it will probably cause some problems

Oh  thanks once again to one of my LFS for selling me a fish that aparently will be fine with all my others :S along with the Parrot fish and Puffer fish they sold me a while ago, strange thing is the yellow one seems fine we have never had any trouble with it as yet ????

The water isnt topped up fully as im changing the water far too often at the moment, when the tank has settled down properly the water line will not be visable :good:

We have 2 Feather Fin Synodontis, got to say they are absolutely wicked :D

tank looks good and i like the glass catfish

the yellow one is called Labidochromis caeruleus .

they are one of the best cichlids for beginners, they arnt as aggressive as most of the cichlids. he/she is still young cichlids only start to become aggressive once the mature.

juist out of intrest what are you feeding them?

very Beautiful fish you have and great tank ! Love the plecos

they are fed on a mixture of flake food frozen worms and shrimps

ok the Labidochromis caeruleus shouldnt be feed any meaty foods. most mbuna cichlids digestive systems carnt cope with the high proteins/fats so bloodworm/worms arnt a good idea for him/her as it could get bloat.

oh  dont want to get rid of him but looks like i may have to

I think that that is jsut an awesome tank. Yellow labs can be done in an aquarium with tropical fish. My Biology class as a senior at high school took care of one that was with 35 zebra danios I bred at home in a 29g tall (60L) tank. It actually coped quite well but that year I took it home and my brothers took care of it while I was at college and now he's in a 55g tank of Africans and he's gotta be 6 years old since he was an adult when my clas took care of him. I wouldn't recommend it, but since its a rather large tank you shoudln;t have a problem, and even though its not his proper ecosystem he still lokks fine in that tank. Watch out for aggression!

he/she might take a liking to the plants aswell. every other week my cutting from other tanks get put in my cichlid tank for the fish to eat.

personaly return him and get another fish that will look as cool.
