I have a bunch of unused tanks sitting on my back porch (I have 4 more tanks but no space to set them up) and I'm thinking of putting the 10 gallon into service as a small planted tank with cherry shrimp, a couple of dwarf frogs and a male betta. I'm gonna use some cuttings and extra plants from my main tank, as I think I bought too much last week.

The substrate will probably flourite base with fine gravel on top. I had frogs before and I remember feeding them live black worms. If any survive the frogs and betta, I suppose they could continue on under the gravel? Is there a way to prevent that? Will it 'cause I problem?

Edit: Oops, should prolly put this in the invertebrate forum.
