Never Really Can Tell

How do you know or how can you tell if a balloon molly is about to have fry? Or how do you even know if one is pregnant? I always wanted to breed them, but I dont think I would ever be able to catch the fry because I always put livebearers in a breeding net, but with these I would never be able to tell.

I dont have the balloon mollies yet, but they will be going in with 3 cory catfish, and 3 platies

Ive never been able to tell when my balloon mollys are pregnant
I would add a few plants to ensure that some fry survive.I discovered a few in a little plastic plant this morning in a tank which had glassfin and columbian tetra in it.I was amazed that they hadnt been eaten.
With only corys and platys in your tank the chances are that quite a few would survive

Yeah any fry in that tank will be gone in a couple minutes.
