Yeah, well my wish came true. 3 months ago I had my first batch of platy fry, never thought it would get this out of control, my Gold Twin Bar just dropped another 30 or so fry, and in the larger tank I saw some grey fry pop out of the rocks, either coming from the guppy or the blue female platy, im thinking platy. I have no idea how many I have right now, because the previous batch of gold twin bars are still a little skittish to come out of the rocks, but I know there are many. I may have to start another 10gallon fry tank... its crazy, I just prayed about having little baby fish, and now I have well over 100. *faints* Oh well, I love em all, as long as I find homes for them, it'll be ok.

Now this is where your prayers need to concentrate on their right object. In my church, I've noticed that a lot of our prayers seem to be for strength and wisdom- precisely what a fishkeeper needs! Particularly strength, when you contemplate hundreds of fry.

Yeah, guess it wasnt something I should of prayed for, I would say it was more of a wish LOL, God is punishing me for praying for something stupid LOL

Well, your wish has come true, hasn't it  You're not the only one, either. 10 platies here, a dozen guppy fry there- it quickly adds up ;)

Yeah I just spotted some fry from the blue female platy now... oh my oh my... the thing about the 30 gallon is we used all rocks, like pretty ones that you would on the shore, some small and some big... basically the fry can swim from one end of the tank to the other without ever coming up through the rocks, so I have absolutely no clue how many fry are down there, but I know there are quite a few. And it pretty much eliminates any chances of being eaten.

I know what you mean. One started dropping 2 days ago and is still at it. Just a couple a day luckily. Now two others have started dropping too and a third looks about ready to.
