Nero Is Sick

wilder the water has gone cloudy over night since adding the salt, is this right?

I doubt it the salt it was only abit.
Is there enough filteration in the tank.
How the betta doing.

sponge filter, ive used it b4 and its kept the tank lovely and clean

not too good, hes getting worse

Is that a sponge filter for two fish in the tank.

yes its only a 4gallon tank anyway, and its been working fine up till adding salt

the filter that came with the tank is too powerful and even cutting the flow isnt helping

Why don't you just keep one betta in the 4 gallons, don't like divided tanks unless you have two filters as each end of the tank.

and what do i do with the other? ive no more room till i move out at the end of may

I doubt the ill one will make it to be honest,
I would just keep one betta in a 4 gallons.

what is it with me n male bettas, first dave dies, then sobek gets eaten, n now poor nero

I would only keep one betta in a four gallons, just because they live in pool dosn't mean they have to for the rest of there lives.
Bigger tanks are more forgiving with water quality, -plus not a lover of divided tanks as they can cause desease.

u will be pleased to know once i move at the end of the mnth, the divided will no longer be divided, and they will each have their own tank

Nero is in his own 4gallon at the moment

and im buying my mums tank off her to put one of the males from the divided in

PS, nero is getting better hour by hour

Nero is now swimming very well, eating well, hes even blowing bubble nests

u did with the salt, i think thats helped alot

fed him my home made food of prawn,pea,carrot,bloodworm,daphnia,and garlic and spirinula, all crushed n mixed together n then frozen

he ate a nice portion n the garlic will help him, he nearly jumped out the tank for it lol
