Help.. I just read that Nerite snails won't breed in FW tank.. however mine have!! Does that mean that water is somehow brackish enough for them to lay the eggs... would it be ok in assuming I don't have to move them to their own tank?? Any help would be great ..

Way to resurrect a thread lol

Nerites will lay copious eggs in freshwater, they will not hatch but stay there looking ugly for what seems like forever.

Having said that - those look like corydoras eggs to me.

And whoever the nerite breeding guy is - I reckon he was troll from olden days.... from what I've read on the topic it is not as easy as that guy seems to be implying, the larvae I thought are microscopic and free swimming need to be raised in fully saltwater and are virtually impossible to feed.

I agree, those are not nerite eggs. I have nerites and my tank is covered in eggs. Nerite eggs are solid opaque white, while your eggs are translucent. And my nerites don't lay in clusters like that.

This has a section on nerite breeding

Edit to add - I have moved these posts to start a new thread, the thread referred to is this
