Neons With Fin Rot

Hiya 8 of my neons have got fin rot all of them have it on the bottom fin of the tail have treated with myxazin for 5 and some seem to be showing improvement but some not so good. I am going to do a water change tonight and was wondering should i do another 5 day course or should i use melafix for a few days dont want to over do the meds cheers

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

is there red stripe area still vibrant red.


Follow the med instructions. If you have to do a water change and run some black carbon do so.
You can start the med twenty four hours later. Just remove the black carbon, and start the med course again.

Melafix is only good once fins are healing.
I would only half dose melafix with having neons.

Hiya my tank is 90 litres stock is 3 odessa barbs 3 peacock gobys 4 rummynose tetras 8 neons and a bn plec my water stats are
Ammonia-0
nitrite-0
nitrate-10
ph-7.4
the red stripe is also still vibrant in all of them and they still seem quite active swimming around.

That's good.

If there no improvement after the second round of myxazin, get back to the board.
