Ntd so sorry.

Ntd sign are.
Bleached out colour in the red stripe, or milky appearance.
Fish leaves shoal.
Being restless.
Swimming oddly.
Swim bladder, dropsy, and popeye symtoms some times.
Yellowish colour in the blue area.
Black lining around the red stripe and tial.
Bent spine.
Lumps on the belly that go to a point.

There no cure for ntd best to destroy the fish and keep an eye on the others.

it doesnt have any off the other symtoms at all though it has been like this for a few weeks now could it off just lost its colour??

A milky appearance on the red stripe is the classic sign of ntd.

I would detroy the fish, I had ntd years back it wiped the whole tank out, wished I destroyed all the neons when it happened.

There false ntd which is saddleback colunmaris, white to greyish fluffy appearance which goes along the back and down the sides of the fish to form a saddle shape.

My neons lasted ages with ntd it not always a fast killer.

Strange.
They can go pale when there asleep, and when you first turn tanks lights on.
But it shouldn't look like a creamy milky appearance.
I would keep him in issolation just to be on the safe side.
R.I.P.
If one fish did have ntd it more thank likely this one has.

Sorry bless him R.I.P.
