I have about 10 neons that keep on getting fungus infections on their body. They seem to have it yet AGAIN. I have a community tank with various other fish (platys, molly, ancistrus, loach, betta) who seem healthy and dont show any signs of fungus.
My water stats are fine: Ammonia - 0, Nitrite - 0, Nitrate - 5, ph 7.2, weekly 20% water changes
My questions are:
Are the neons just poorly bred for colour and have weak immune systems?
Can I effectively treat the neons with acquarium salt? (I'd prefer to avoid meds)
I use CO2 injection for my plants for the recommended amount once per day. Would this affect their wellbeing?
