Hello,

Today two of my neon tetras look slightly bloated and have pop-eye but mainly they have one gill has a very red underside and has "wavy" underside and gone very very red, the fish seem to try to scrape it off, do i remove the fish and put them into an other tank?, also ive got my show betta in there and i don't want anything to happen to it?, do i put it into the hospital tank? What should i treat them with?

Thanks

Tortea

How many gallons or litres is the tank.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Is your stocking still the same in your signature.

Do you mean the tummy area has gone red. If so is the redness beneath the skin or on top.
Any sign of flicking and rubbing.
is the red stripe area still vibrant red.

Any sign of flicking and rubbing.-Yes trying to rub the gill on flat stones
is the red stripe area still vibrant red.- yes, as normal.

Your tanks severely overstocked if it's a 90 litre tank.

Immediate water change.
Get back to board with water stats.
