Hey guys, I have a 10 gallon tank (45 liters) that has been cycling for over a year. I was wondering how many neon tetras I can have in my tank with 3 corries. I have one albino cory, and I am working on identifieng the other two. I know about the one inch per gallon, but I know you can have more than 5 neon tetras in a 10 gallon or 3 corries in a 10 gallon. Any help is/would be greatly appriciated.

ignore the 1inch per gallon rule for neons. They are tiny fish that don't produce much waste. If you do regular water changes and keep the tank in good condition, you could have 10-20 neons in there with the 3 cories.
If you buy a group of neons then get them all at the same time. If you buy a few at a time, there will be more chance of the new neons introducing diseases to the ones already in the tank.

I have 9 neons, 3 guppies and 2 small cories.
all in a 10 gal,
i will be rehoming the guppies though.
The neons are mostly mid-top water fish so they wont be too much of a problem with cories.
you could probably do more neons if you would want, i wouldnt go above 12-15 neons
