Hi, can anyone recommend what fish should go with them> or provide me with a link to a site that gives lists/suggestions for suitable fish to put together, as i have no idea how i would tell.

thanks

if you read the link in my sig 'guide to stocking lists' it will explain how to work out which fish go together.

there's too many possible combinations really to just list them out, if you go round fish shops or look at other people's pictures of their tanks then get some ideas which species you like, do a bit of research into the species and see which ones you think works together then put together a stocking list and post it up here we'll sanity check it for you and point out any problems.

most bottom dwellers (cories & plecos), most tetras, rasboras, and danios are all good for a start.

Cichlids generally won't work.

It is much easier to pick something you like and get a specific response though, the options are huge.

neons prefer a mature tank....usually 6+ months, i would avoid anything large like angels as these are their natural food!

i have mine in a shoal of 12 with black neons, black phantoms, BN, shrimps and dwarf gourami...

what are you planning to put with them? its easier to say what shouldnt go with them, than what can.. :good:

thanks guys. sorry if it was a bit vague, i'll have a look to see what i like then come back.

cheers
