Neon tetras sick!

I bought 7 neon tetras yesterday and then noticed that one of them had white spots all over the body so i began treating the whole tank for ick. Today i noticed that one neon died and I can't find another one, probably died too. But the other fish all look sick. The have white spots and the tail seems to be rotting. So now I don't know what to do. Can they have ick and fin rot at the same time? Should i take them out of the tank? I have a molly and a swordtail there as well in a 10 gal tank.It doesn't look good but I want to try to save the neons. Anyone know what I can do? Oh, and the last time I checked the water, it was perfectly fine, the ammonia, nitrite.etc.

yes, it is possible for fish to have two diseases at once. I would check the water again. Hope they get better soon

Yes it is possible...I had the same problem. Ich and Tail rot with my fish. The funny thing is that all my other fish had ich and my neons had tail rot. Doesn't make sense to me. Just treat them with appropriate medications. I don't know if a water change will help but you could try. Good Luck!
