'neon Red Rosy Barbs' Or Dyed?

Saw these in LFS today. They were extremely bright and eyecatching. Are they a real variety or dyed?
Didn't get a pic, but these are fairly close

cant really tell , but i have very bright barbs,,, problem is they dont get their colour till later in life, they are stunning fish ..sorry just read that they arnt your fish.. no they wont be dyed, theya re very colourfull fish, often overlooked as they colour up late

I don't think they are died. Though the "Neon Red" sounds a bit suspicious to me, normally they are marketed as plain Rosy Barbs where I live.

think maybe those are the OP`s words.. didnt say that they were sold as such

My LFS put the lights at the front of the tank, rather than the back of the tank, in order to make the colors of the fish stand out. The owner showed me the difference and the colors were much more vibrant when he had the lights at the front.

No, they had standard rosy barbs too and 'neon red rosy barbs' was what these were being sold as. They were way, way brighter than the standard ones.
