Hi, I bought 3 more neons yesterday to go with my remaining 3. I noticed today that one of them has like a bulge under its stomach. Is there something wrong with this one?
i am glad to say it may be full of eggs if one day it goes down dont put your hand in the tank you may disturb them i did that and they eggs got eaten i have not had some since.
My neons are like that, so if they lay eggs is it just over the gravel, and how would you go about cleaning the tank without disturbing the eggs? And what is the chances of actually having baby tetras in the tank
none but it is good to know you tried.
My tetras laid there eggs on the plants and thats where they lay them not on the gravel i have never heard of a fish that lays there eggs on the gravel it is too hard for the eggs to go on they need a soft surface like bogwood or glass ot filter housings.
