I think that I just had a neon tetra die last night from swim bladder disease. He went quick... I noticed him yesterday swimming oddly, more on his side when he was idle, then he would straighten up when he swam. I thought he may have hurt one of his fins or something and was going to go to the place where I got him today to see if there's anything I could do.
When I found it dead this morning, it was half-eaten. I don't know if it was one of the other tetras or the pleco. But upon looking into what it was that killed him, I read about it being passed on that way. Not only did a fish start eating it, it obviously exposed the water to whatever may have done it in in the first place. I'm a little worried for my other fish.
Is there anything I can treat the water with? The other fish are still fine with no signs of anything awry. Any help is much appreciated.
