Just doing some digging about the above. Whilst I google them - couple of questions someone might be able to answer:

Whats the recommended ratio of males to females? And can they be kept singly?

How do you sex them?
 
I did some digging and realised its practically impossible to sex. Bought one in the end along with a couple of ocellatus shell dwellers, to go in with a single brichardii I have in the tank at the moment.
