My new tiger teddies from the BLA auction did their bit just before I went on holiday, and the 2 babies were still alive when I got back on Sunday. I can tell them from the ticos because they've got red eyes. Tiny slivers with red eyes. I'd love to build up a colony of these little beauties.

Now I'm only waiting for the heterandria formosas to perform!

That's great news Dwarf, their small fish anyway so yes the fry are going to be tiny ;) and stunning like you said already.

Hope they keep going well for you.

Just an update- there are now 5 fry, all doing very well and growing. They eat deshelled brine shrimp powder, Tetra powdered fry food, jellied TetraDelica food and mashed pea, and the larger two are just about able to tackle a grindal worm. They seem quite tough and very capable little things, always helping themselves to any food that is going.

And I think I'm about to become a great grandmother :hyper: One of my tico females is looking very pregnant. She was one of the first tico fry born in the tank- and I did find it difficult to get the ticos established, lost most of the adults before the fry started coming, so it feels particularly good to see the colony established now...and about to grow!

Your haveing great fun there i see, time for a couple more tanks then ;)

LOL well their is another auction on may 27th in Bracknell if u wanna go to that as well?
