I’m currently carrying out large water changes to reduce ammonia in my fish tank. While doing my gravel clean I noticed two very small white/clear worms swimming through the water I managed to net one and dispose of it. By the time I returned I wasn’t sure where the other one went. I have no idea how these have entered my tank or if they are definitely nematodes be from research they sound like it. I do keep love plants in my guppy tank. I’m horrified because I’ve had this problem in the past and I hate any live creepy crawly in fish tanks. I can’t even feed my fish live food because I’m that squeamish. Has anyone got any advice for me? How can I make sure these pests leave my aquarium? All advice is appreciated. Thank you.
