I knew one of my 2 preggers would be going anyday , WELL I just found one baby. I bought a birthing net and put them both in it, no more babies so far. Should I do that. I have only ever been able to save 1 or 2 at a timne because I left them out in the main tank. what should I do .. They don't seem stressed in the net ... I wanna see and save more babies :)

I think that leaving them in the net is a good idea. The birthing can take some time but the mommy fish do not usually eat the babies while birthing. However if she has finished and the others have eaten the rest already she may get hungry. It is a bit of a judgement call though so you need to evaluate if she still looks like there are more to come.

How big is your main tank, and do you have plenty of hiding spaces and plants as most of them can survive if so.

They both a pretty big still with black gravid spots. I cam home and noticed they were all around the poted plant I have I didn't think anything of it but I guess there might have been a few more then the one I saved. There are hiding places but I do have 2 frogs in there too ... :( Maybe I'll just keep them in the net untill I see if they are going to have anymore, or until I can tell which one is having them. Thanks for your help guys

I did not realize you had both mommies in the net, I thought that one of the fish in the net was a fry. In the case keep a close eye on them so you can get the other one out when you have it figured out. Good luck.
