hi

my dad said i can get a rekord 60 (YES!)

any way i dunno what fish to put in there id like a hardy fish
coulorful would be nice mabye a chiclid of some sort NOT a ram
there not hardy and if not a chiclid then something else

1)id like shoaling fish perhaps black widow tetra

2)and one or two main fish loners this is where i need your help

I NEED YOUR OPINIONS

and im not sure how many gallons my new tank is

any ideas

The Rekord 60 is 60 litres, that's just under 16 US gallons or 13 UK gallons.

Something small, colourful and shoaly whould be my choice for that lovely little compact space.

Hi, sorry can't advise you on the fish. Your tank is 60litres, which is 13.198uk gals or if you are in the US it is 15.855 usgals. I did the maths by using the pinned topics which contains a device to get calculations. Hope that helps. Hope you enjoy fishkeeping. You beat me to it SirMinion!

Would tetras (black widows) use caves? I've got ideas for aqua scaping

1) slant the pebbles like a hill and have a cave built into it so only the entrance can be seen

take a look at this. It has a lot of small species fish in it. There is a link somewhere in that thread that had alot of small fish too. Hope it helps.

A female kribensis would be a good cichlid for your caves but you cant have anything else on the bottom. A few tetras to take up the middle and top would look nice.
