Need to remove biofilter during ich treatment?

I recently discovered that one of our albino pristella tetras seem to be infected with ich or some similar disease cause its body is no longer see-through but a cloudy white. Was going to pick up some Quick Cure tomorrow but just wanted to know if I need to remove my biofilter wheel during the treatment period? I read that I need to remove and later on replace my charcoal filter during the process but no mention of biowheels. Should I or not? Any tips appreciated. Thanks!

The bio-wheel should be fine. You'll remove the carbon so it doesn't filter out the meds Just stuff it with filter floss or something and add carbon when you're done treating.
