ok my daughters guppy is pregnant we dont have any males he died about 1 week ago now how many times can she inpregnant herself i already have some one who wants all the fry she produces we are elim. the guppy breeding do to their lack of hardiness she is our last female guppy but my daughters fav. so we want to keep her then after she is done having all her babies we are getting virgin females to insure no more guppy breeding will take place any help with this would be much appreciated
 
There is debate about whether they store sperm or whether they just have batches of slower developing fry in groups, but six times, once a month is generally the rule for how many times they will birth without a male. It can be seven, sometimes five, but six is a good average.
