Need To Identify Fish

I was sold three fish under the name golden weather loaches........ Someone has just said that weather loaches arent algae grazers which is probably true which now leaves me with the dilema of trying to identify my fish as they are definately algae grazers as have a sucker mouth.....

They are currently approx 3inches, sucker mouth, yellow and similar body shape to a Khuli loach with the obvious difference in that they have different mouth and not stripped or anything. They just graze the tank and occassionally ward each other off or chase each other around the tank! I will try and get a photo soon if that is any help but I have no idea where to begin a search for this fish...... So any ideas as to what it might be would be a great help Thanks

Thanks for that well it def rules it out as being a weather loach (sigh of relief), wish I knew what they were then!

I wish LFS would label they're fish correctly! Argh so frustrated now esp that I dont know what I have

B$$%%££'s they are the golden form of that............. Wouldnt mind but I said I only had a small aquarium which is why I wanted Ottos....

Oh well back to shop they go to be traded in........

50p says you have the gold form of this; http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=98998 AKA sucking loach. Nasty things......eat algae when small but them move on to other fishes' slimecoats.
