Is it ok to take all my live rock out whilst I get him out?

Reason being if I don't I dont think I have any chance of getting him out, he is bullying and nipping at my new fish like crazy and it's not fair.

I also took the gamble on mixing a Clarki clown with a very small tomatoe clown, eeeeeek :X

If you have to take it out to get him you can. Just make sure you have buckets of mixed saltwater handy to put them in... Less dieoff that way ;)

Mixing clowns can be a distaster unless you have a pretty large tank. Clarkis can be pretty mean, not sure about tomatos.

For your damsel if you cant catch him with a net try "the trap" Im sure it can be had online somewhere but I got mine from my LFS and it took a few hours of patience but I was able to catch both my damsels that way. I wouldnt take LR out of the tank unless you have very little of it.

You could use a trap, bait him into a net, catch him when he is sleeping, pull out the LR, there are many options. Try netting him at night before you go ahead and pull down your set-up though.

Leave him in a breeder cage, or something similar overnight.

catch him when he is sleeping

Our damsels never sleep. They were always ready to run!
 LOL! G/L with that. The trap and a patient girlfriend is the best way to get them out. I would get mad after 15 minutes and give up. She sat for 2-3 hours and got both dominio damsels out!

All done within 5 mins lol

Think I fluked it

Recently bought a lovely baby regal tang though, died the following morning :(

tomatoes and clarkiis are volatile clwons. expect carnage when they get larger and want their own space. They also grow large too so i hope your system is ready for this. Adding the tang during this period most likely stressed it and it died. They are very delicate and dont like stress. Also... adding a tang immediately increases the volume needed in your system to an easy 100 gallons or more.
