This is for all those budding David Baileys out there --
My brackish book is due out soon, but there are still some gaps where I need some additional photographs. Basically I need to to buy photographs of brackish water fish and aquaria. Anyone who'd like to make a bit of money can e-mail me or PM me and I'll fill them in on the details. Last time I checked, the going rate was $20 a shot, so the more pictures you have, the better!
Among the species we need additional pictures of are things like violet gobies, puffers, and archers. Really pretty much everything -- my publisher wants to buy in more pictures than they actually need to that they can be flexible with their layout.
The key thing is quality -- digital images need to be large and high-resolution, at least 300 dpi.
One type of picture that would be especially valuable are nice shots of set up brackish water aquaria.
Besides a few extra bucks to go towards your fishkeeping expenses, all pictures will be formally acknowledged in the book.
Cheers,
Neale
