I currently have a 120L tank cycling and whilst its doing that Im researching my planting options. I've always 'cheated' in the past and had plants attached to bits of volcanic rock or driftwood but plan to do things a little different this time.
The tank has a gravel base and Im only looking for a lightly planted tank, its in a relatively low light position but does have tank lighting which I can use. Its also going to house fancy goldfish and so I need a resiliant (read non edible) plant that will survive the Goldfish.
I was thinking of using elodea densa in the background as its quick growing and although the goldfish will eat it, its cheap enough and easy enough to replant without major concern. I was also considering using anubias Nana in the foreground but not sure how these will take to a gravel base as its normally recommended they be tied to bogwood etc.
Anyone any thoughts or ideas?
