Need Some Ideas

hi all
I have 4 days off starting this Saturday and I'm racking my brain trying to decide what to do, where to go etc.
I'm thinking of visiting an aquarium somewhere and have thought about
the blue planet in Cheshire or the Eden project in Cornwall or even a trip to the German national aquarium in Berlin

my question is, if you had 4 days spare where would you go (in Europe, I'm not made of cash )?

Blue Planet is OK and you could do a try dive in the shark tank. How about a tour of the aquaria of The North? Start off at Sea Life in Brum, then head over to Blue Planet. Next day across the M62 to The Deep in Hull, then you'll have to find some others yourself

Me, I'd go somewhere sunny for 3 days on a last minute deal.

The Blue Planet in Ellesmere Port is a nice place, but like with all aquariums you've seen it all twice within 3 hours. Still, I absolutely love the place. Haven't been there for over a year, so haven't seen the latest things they've done, but if it was worth the money over a year ago, I'm sure it still is now.

I personally wasn't impressed with the Sea Life in Birmingham, no different at all than the once nearer to me ... heck, I'd go as far as to say less impressive than the once nearer to me. The only thing I really enjoyed there were the sea turtles. But I wouldn't travel 2 hours and pay that price again.

The Eden project is something I really wanna go to one day, but haven't been yet. So no information on that.
As for leaving England just to go visit an aquarium, I wouldn't do that. Unless you actually have more reasons as to why you'd want to go to Germany I'd leave it.
