Need Some Help

i have a pink convent cichlid and i have noticed a little lump under the belly near the vent could someone tell me if it is a male or female i am very new at this i hope you can help

would be easier to tell if we had a decent picture of the fish. but its fairly easy to tell if it is a male or female

females will have orange colored scales on their sides. and males won't. I am not sure if I have posted a pic of my male on here I will have a look

hello it does have some orange along the fins at the top but want could the little lumb on the belly be maybe the egg thingy did you look to see if you had a pic

not the best pic but here is what a male looks like. note the lack of orange on his side just behind his fins. but it would be much easier if there was a pic to look at to positivly id this fishs gender.
