need some help on this betta

this is the meanest female i have ever saw it blows up just like males. Do females do that or not and its fins are growing out more like a males everyday do you think by a small chance I just got a male not fully grown yet.I wish my camera was working just so I could send you a picture of her or him when i get her at the pet store I thought I was bying a female but I am not so sure now as to what I have.

I sure think it is a male does the females have that beard thing under thier mouth you know what I am trying to say where they blow up on the other males. It sure is showing signs of a male everyday to me.it is mean like a male as the mateer a fact it is quiet the little
