Need Some Advice Quick

Just added a few new fish to my community tank,the past 3 days everything was fine. Now the 3 sword fish and a couple of the danios have ick. I started treatment of Quick cure today Sept 21/07. I read somewhere that adding non-idodized salt to aquariums can help rid or prevnt ick?? Can i add it while using the meds or should i wait until they have the all clear??

All the other fish i have in the tank are clean of ick so far.

Any advice or help would be appreciated very much.

I also have some Coppersafe. Can i use it or should i use it instead of Quick cure.

no, stay far away from copper, very far away......

ich is a very common disease that is very easy to treat, no need to go as far as to using copper (which is like chemotherapy to the fish lol)

Finish the medication, then forget about the salt, salt isnt good for most if not all true freshwater fish in the long term. If you want a preventative, look into UVS's.

What are your water params? Did you cycle?
