Need Some Advice On My Spawn Please

I do believe that my orchid boy has eaten the eggs because I could see them and now I can't, more to the point he was busy with the nest all yesterday but today has lost total interest and nothing is going on.

The girl has been out for nearly 24hrs and I don't think there was much of a spawn, just a few eggs.

My question is shall I put her back in? Or try another girl? Or try another pair? Or what would your advice be?

id try another girl...

id leave them just now.. he may well have the eggs hidden. leave him for a couple of days just to be sure!! if absolutely no sign of fry in a couple of days, then think about trying again.

id use the same female, at least you know they are compatible, and it should produce interesting fish. if this was his first spawn id give him another chance to get it right
