Need multi colored bright south american fish ideas

For my south american animal 3 painting series (that i think im adding to, have one done) i want to do a brightly colored south american fish. Please shower me with ideas

There's not many brightly coloured South American fish. Maybe neons and cardinal tetras, lemon tetras, serpae. Most of them are browns so they blend in with their environment.

Australia and New Guinea have colourful fish and the cichlids in the Great Rift Lake of Africa has some colourful stuff, and coral reef fish can be colourful.

Yes thats what i had thought of doing, just some coordinating bright colored animals but i want them to be from the same general area, but maybe i won't!
 
South America has some brightly coloured parrots. You could do parrots eating fruit and nuts in trees.

I did a parrot already! I was thinking fish and frogs for the other two, i may just do more birds though
