Need more fish for my 55 gallon

In my tank right now I have 1 opaline guarami, an orange colored guarami(not sure what kind), a couple mollies, a couple platies, and a german blue ram.

I also have a 10 gallon that I can move some of those fish into.


What would be some good cichlids to get in this tank? I have seen the apistos on this board and they look great but how much do they cost in U.S.? How about convics and jack dempseys?

Any good combo that you guys could come up with would be helpful...thanks


by the way, I am thinking about adding two more german blue rams. I have one male right now so I will try to get two females.

Get a flowerhorn and use the rest as feeder hehe.

Maybe some severums, or some jacks? the problem is most NW Cichlids will eat your other fish

personally, i would get a few more rams, and hopefully get a pair

or, i would go for an asian type tank, and stick to the gouramis

there is also a possiblity of getting apsitos as you mention, which don't cost too much, about $10 Australian

That would be no jacks or cons unless you move the other fish to the 10 gallon.
