Need Large filtration rec

I have owned an aquanetics system pack filtration system for my 200 gallon fresh water tank for 20 years and i have located my system in the basement giving the pump a head pressure of 12-13 feet.

As i understand aquanetics is out of business and i had planned to purchase their system pack number 197 which incorporates a powere german pump for my situation--any recs on where to get something comparable for my situation?--i.e. a new pump system-canister preferred--chemical,mechanical etc

How about a couple of Filstar XP3's? They are inexpensive but efficient canisters. I think you get more bang for your buck. I love mine!

If it's been working fine for 20 years - why do you want to change it? If it's just a case of replacing the pump, there's gotta be a better way. Sound like a really nice set up - it'd never occurred to me to put the filter in the cellar. But it has now, yes, decent Eheim or Lotus power pump, hmmmm......
