Hi CTS,

its a "false Gramma" latin name Psudochromis paccagnelle

Can grow to around 2 inches(in wild) eats meaty foods , brineshrimp

Can be a bit weird with similar shaped fish,

Have kept Royal Grammas and The Strawberry Gramma.Great little fish , need little hidey holes and rockwork .They can be territorial and have enormous mouths when they open them full stretch.

One of mine once managed to get the get the head of a hawkfish in his mouth during a fight.

Hope this helps

Yep Samseal is right, a false dottyback. Nice little fish but they can be a little territorial with similar shape or coloured fish.

awsome thanks, is a Royal dottyback another name for it? Also i was told it could be put with a clown fish (yes like nemo, im new to saltwater) thanks

I had no problem with my Royal Gramma with my " nemos" and the strawberry fish lives with "nemo now".

Yes also known as Royal Dottyback, and Paccagnella's dottyback.

Watch out they can jump out of tanks
