Need Ideas For Rescape

Evening all. Really not happy anymore with my current scape it has become a little neglected since I started my new job and I really fancy a change. I no I want black sand but I'm pretty stuck after that. My tanks is currently home to a common Plec a pair of Bolivian rams and 15 black neon tetra I'm thinking of removing the tetra as I want sone angle fish and some dwarf guarmi (spelling) the tank is 270l

Any ideas for me ? Any photos or scapes using black sand I'd like some Planta but my Plec just destroys them.

Black sand looks great...I am cycling a 30 gallon next to my 75 and decided to set it up with black sand and rocks. It's not much, but I figured I share...

I got it from the local PetSmart, it was CaribSea "tahitian moon" color: http/www.caribsea.com/pages/products/super_nat.html
