need help

right story is i bought a 20 uk gallon on a stand all it needs is a filter, water and fish. my family have moved house since buying it and my mumis not keen on it being in the house so i have advertised it for sale at a stupidly low price £20 ( for the jewel tank, jewel stand, white sand, structured background, light ballast and decs). a women has shown interest but i dunno if i wanna get rid. only prob is as it is not allowed in the houseit would have to go in the garage.

is that a bad idea having it in the garage. it would be a tropical planted tank with guppies and a plec (one that doesnt grow small) name slips me though.

need help do i sell for £20 or set it up in the garage. have roughly 2 hours to make up my mind

I dunno but it seems like it's a bad idea to keep it in the garage. Out of sight, out of mind and all that. You might find that water changes, feeding and all the rest become a chore and a bore when you can't enjoy the fishies you're doing it all for.

otoh, £20 for the whole set-up is a really bad deal is it not? (not familiar with the jewel)

Can you ask your mum if you can just keep the (empty) tank in the garage for a bit?
Maybe she'll change her mind later and then you can set it up in the house again.
Or maybe she won't.... but once it's gone it's gone.
