hi, i got a 70 gallon aquarium right now, with a magnum 250 gall. filter, a air rock, a heater, and a uv light. I bought all miss fish a month ago and the consist of 9 tiger barbs, 2 plecos(1 12 inches,1 4 inches),5 ID Sharks, 3 tri-color sharks,1 black ghost knife, and 4 of these rainbow fish(not sure just pretty). I havent had any problem loosin fish yet but dont want too.
1st problem is 3 of my tiger barbs are missin 1 eye each.

2nd problem my tank was spottles for a month clear as bottled water now for the past weak it has been cloudy. I switch my magnum filter inside to the water polisher and its startin to clear up.

3rd my ghost knife dosnt go in his tube he like the caves and places i can't see him. All i see is his tail most of the time and he comes out to eat at night i see.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cloudy water could be due to overfeeding... That's what caused mine a few weeks ago.

they are nocturnal and require a cave in the morning.

What are your water parameters? It could be cloudy from overfeeding but it could also be a water quality issue other than overfeeding. It could be a bacteria bloom or an algae bloom. Is the cloudiness white or green in color? Keep us posted. :)

I Think I am overfeeding! I was used to my piranahs i had. I have tropical fish flakes, shrimp pellets, algae disc and bloodworm. Any Suggestions on feeding? Is it normal for my big sailfin pleco to have a long trail of poop hanging out lol. And Why do the tiger barbs have a missing eye are they doin it to each other or is something else. Thank You
