Need Help....

well..... the fish i already have are my black ghost knife fish, 3inch roughtly and my swordtail 2inch rougthly,
could i put 2 emerald rainbow fish, and a breeding pair of kribensis, 1 firemouth cichlid,breeding pair of convicts and 1 discus in a tank? or would it be a recipe for a blood bath?

You would need a big tank, dont know about compatibility but the discus will need company.

Tank will be 4ft by 15" by 18" and how many discus would i need?

5+ is needed - they are very sensitive to water parameters, especially nitrate, here is a site about didcus:

I wouldn`t go with the convicts in that mix they can be formidable foes with fry, the others in the tank will take a beating. Discus will need company of their own species i agree 5+ sounds a good start. Livebearers need hard water Discus require soft so you have problems there as well.

WELL IVE FINALLY DECIDED ON WHAT IM HAVING

my black knife- very placid so should get along
my swordtail
my flying fox

then im buying
breeding pair of kribs
4 tetras, 2 bleeding heart 2 black shadows
A small plec or 2 small catfish unsure yet
maybe some emerald rainbows,
