my betta is bloated and i was wondering how to fix this because he wont eat peas.

Hello Leighann, think I am the only one on and I am supposed to be getting ready for work! Are his scales pineconed as well as him being bloated? If so, he needs treating for dropsy.
Hopefully, if he is just constipated, super clean warm water, no food, and wait for him to poo. Cant remember what else you do for constipation.....sorry...got to go. guinea pigs are squeaking, dogs are glaring at me all need feeding. :good:

I appreciate that you are worried Leighann but give people a chance to answer!
Keep persisting with the pea but failing that don't feed him for a couple of days and wait for him to poop.
Like Liz said, is there any other signs of illness?

im just upset i really dont want him to die. i tried with the pea he wont take it, no signs of dropsy his water is around 78 constantly and i havent fed him for three days. now he has a very VERY thin layer of fuzz around the bottom of his bloated stomach and some around his head. im going to treat him for that. but i dont know what to do now.

but i already fasted him for three. no signs of dropsy.

Try feeding daphina, as this can help work as a natural laxative. Also you could always try the salt bath.

Good Luck!! :good:
