Need Help With My Cichlids

Hi everyone, i was wondering if anyone could explain to me how i can distinguish between a male and female cichlid. I've tried looking on google but i can't simplify the question so that i can find out what i want to find, can anyone help me as i think i have 2 females in my tank but one looks like a male and i need to find out.

I just had to continue the ECHO started by (and I thought handled well) by tanks a lot!
