hello recently i have this problem with my angel fish it looks like it has a little hump at the back near the tail and it looks like its filled in with blood . i think it might got attacked.any help will do please i also posted a pic on bottom of it so u guys can see it and tell me whats wrong :(

and heres the picture :(

what size tank do you have? what other fish and numbers of each? water stats? ammonia? nitrite? nitrate? pH? did you cycle your tank beofre adding fish?

What are the tankmates, and what size tank? Also, what do you have for decorations? For angels with an injury daily 50% water changes for a few days with a little melafix helps with healing, and prevents infection.

im not sure about my tank size is normal size u know it has room to swim around, i got 5 male guppies 1 female 1 red shark.i doubt the shark attacked it becuz it had that before i put the shark.when i went yesterday to check the ph amonia and all that the guy who sold me the other 2 fish said everything is perfect.so i dont think theyres anything wrong with the tank or water.it had that for some days,it look sad for some days like it had a little little bump for starters then it got bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger.im scared maybey it will die :(:(:(decorations i got 1 orange small ball.and 1 fake plant.

can you measure the tank please? in inch or cm, will need the lenght height and depth

also having 5 male guppies to 1 female will be very stressful to her, you should have atleast 2 female PER male, so ideally you'd need 10 females, so either get rid of her or the males, also red tailed black sharks can get quite big annd very aggressive so again knowing the tank size is needed here

uh huh ok ill measure.

yes im moving the female into the other tank i have i wating for it to be a bit more maute.

and the red tailed shark s not ggressive at all.

is really quite actually.

i sit and watch the fish for hours to hours a day.

i dont see any 1 chasing around the female guppie only 1 fish and it will chase it sometimes.

i had her for very long time and she got pregnant 3 or so weeks ago. :p

then you can expect fry from her every 4 weeks for upto 7 months, longer if she is still with males

lol :):):)

thats why im moving her to a different tank with the fry's i have no problem with the fry's :p

i really love guppies.

and the 2 tanks i got can fit easly 30 guppies each and the other one up to 50

so it dnt rele bother me, but i will move her very soon :p

glad to hear that, don't want you ending up like i did thats all, have you done the measurements yet?
