Hello

I recently bought a used VIA-Aqua VA 620 with stand to use for tropical fish from a co-worker who used it for Salt water. I would like to use it to replace my standard tropical 20 gallon tank. I am new to the hobby aspect of Tropical fish. I need some help Identifying the VA 620, it seems from my web searching it is no longer made, or atleast this model. I am guessing it is at least a 29 gallon tank, with duel lights and Im guesing a built in wet dry filteration system in the hood.

I would like some information, is it 29 gallons? Is it wet dry filteration, if not what is it? Also what sort of filteration material does it need?

Thank you!

My current tank is 20 gallons, housing 4 cories, 4 platies, and 5-8 Zebra Danios , I think a few Danios have perished though the last tank water change I didnt turn up any bodies.

My water stats are all safe, with a high ph of 8.

I believe Via Aqua is now called Aqua One. Somone more knowledgeable might confirm whether or not this is the case. If the VA 620 applies to the present branding, the 620 (AR620) holds 90 litres, which roughly equates to 24 gallons.

I have an Aqua One AR510, and it has the wet/dry trickle filtration. I'm sure the subsequent models are the same.

For your perusal, here's the link to the aforementioned tank: http://www.aquaone.co.uk/AquaStyle_aquarium.php
