Need Help! Real Fast

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention that one lol. Anywayz, if i go there i will ask them... Actually that packaging looks familiar (just looked up on google). I am pretty sure they do have that one... Wihch one is better by the way? Or are they just the same just different packaging?

Not sure about ammo-lock, i'm sure someone will be able to enlighten you though.
I researched loads of these products when i first got into fish-keeping, fairly thoroughly as i performed a fish in cycle.
From what i read (and in my experience of using it) SeaChem Prime doesn't fail or result in spikes, it also detoxifies nitrite and nitrate.
It appears to have the approval of many experienced fish keepers and the majority of LFS that i have visited.
Plus it is one of the cheaper dechlors going.

Thanks germ for you ongoing help and support. Will look into SeaChem Prime later on today :)

I found some stuff called AmmoLock, I've used quite a bit, and it gets rid of the ammonia really fast.

Hope this helps!!

Ammo-Lock doesn't get rid of ammonia, it just transforms the ammonia present into ammonium which is non-toxic. You will still get the same ammonia reading as before adding it. It also has no effect on ammonia that is produced after you add it. That will still be toxic. One last thing, a normal dose will lock 3ppm of ammonia. If you ammonia is higher than that, you have to add more. This is all from API in an answer to a question I sent them.

The best way to fight high ammonia is water changes. Do them to get it down and then continue to keep ammonia and nitrite below .25ppm until the tank cycles.
