Need Help Quickly

Im wanting to buy a fish tank off ebay but I dont kow how to work out the us volume if I gove you the stats and someone tel me what it is asap..

its a corner tank

tank glass size

front panel 21"X21"

small side panel X2 21"X6"

large side panels X2 21X21.

any help will be great.

I've heard the formula is multiplying WxHxL and multiplying that by .00433 - but that's for a regular rectangle tank.
If I take your tank, and do 21x21x6, I get about 11 gallons. Maybe it's about a 15 gallon tank?

Probly doesn't help much, but that's my logic for it

Assuming the tank goes all the way into the corner and forms a right angle, this means that the shape (if you draw it out) can be broken into a triangle and trapezoid.
After some simple geometry that provides us with a surface area of 330.795 square inches, multiply this by the 12 inch tank height to get 6946.695 cubic inches.
Converting this give a tank of 113 litres or about 30 US gallons.
But I would imagine that it may well be smaller than this, if you cant fill the tank allt he way to the top or it doesnt go all the way into the wall at the corner or something.

i have a 13g tank which looks quite a lot smaller than yors so i would say more than 15g
hope this helps

by doing a weird calculation i get around 25g, couldn't you contact the person selling this and ask them for the gallons. If he has the tank manual it should be on that.
