Need Help Quickly Please

Can anyone tell me which medicine is the best for cottonmouth. My female platty died in the night, I'm pretty certain is was this what killed it. Water stats are fine and my other fish are all ok. Trying to find a thread which covers this, if anyone knows please tell me.

Thanks bloozoo2, Just come home and no more dead fish. Went to my lfs and they recommended melafix, so have started treatment.

Can anyone tell me if there is anything else I should do? Water changes? up the temp? keep lights off? Etc
The bottle says to do a 25% water change after a week of treatment, is this ok?

Mealfix is no good you want anti fungus and finrot med by interpet, if things don't clear in a few days you will have to add a bacterial med as well anti internal bacteria med by interpet.
