Hi,
I just bought myself two "koi" swordtails which are an albino variant and unfortunately both didn't make it and possibly had the slightest bit of white on the top lip and fungus on his tail. Please can someone help confirm this as I dont have a way to quarrantine it from the main tank and so I can start treating it as soon as possible.
My Betta has now caught the disease and overnight the white fungus has progressed from his mouth to just under his eyes, and his 2 red long fins on his underside have started to go white.
I have treated my tank with interpet anti fungus and finrot and dosing with melafix daily (this afternoon is dose 3), I don't know what else to do and all help is appreciated.
Below is a picture of the possible culprit as both swords have now passed and taken 2 glass catfish too.
